 BRONX CENTRAL COUNCIL FOR
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
(B.C.C.E.D.)

The Mission of the Bronx Central Council (the "Council") is to encourage and facilitate a dialogue between the diverse Bronx business communities, and its residents, that leads to community and economic empowerment. The Council firmly believes that small businesses are the foundation of economic stability in their communities. As such, the Council provides the framework and support mechanism for community and economic empowerment through advice, technical and financial assistance, development of targeted community projects, and production of community events. The fusion of small businesses and communities, coupled with guidance by the Council, will lead to the economic empowerment of the Bronx communities it serves.

 14th Annual Fordham Rennaissance Festival

The Fordham Road Renaissance Festival is the Bronx's largest and most popular street festival, attracting over 10,000 people per hour. Concluding the summer festival calendar, the annual event in September celebrates the flavor and diversity of the Bronx and its people. It takes place on Fordham Road between Kingsbridge Road and Morris Avenue - the 3rd largest commercial corridor in New York, with almost 400 retailers.

With nearly 115 booths stretching over an area about a half-mile long, and two stages at opposite ends of the festival area, The Fordham Road Renaissance Festival offers music, food, friendship and fun.

This year the Festival will be held on Sunday September 13,2009. Mark your calendars. Download the  2009 Sponsorship Package. (please do not view as a slide show)
